Vice Chair for 2000 to 2002 term. Chair of task force formed to increase diversity in the profession and in the Society. Currently involved as member of the statewide Accounting Education Committee, and the state Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards Committee. Past president of the Los Angeles chapter.

Served as Student Activities Director of the Los Angeles chapter of ASWA and Education Director of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Government Accountants. Member of NSA, IMA, SCA, ACFE, and FEI.

Member of Advisory Council for Loyola Marymount University, CSU Los Angeles, and Chaffey College. Also serving on the Board of Directors of the Accounting Careers Awareness Program (ACAP).
